PIM The perfect hub for exchange students

“ที่มหาวิทยาลัยของผม เรามีโอกาสไปเรียนต่างประเทศได้หนึ่งภาคการศึกษา ผมอยากลองไปยังจุดหมายที่อยู่นอกยุโรป และเห็นว่าประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในตัวเลือก การเป็นพันธมิตรกันระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยของผมกับ PIM ถือว่าเป็นสิ่งใหม่ ผมเลยคิดว่าทำไมไม่ลองไปที่เอเชียดู นั่นคือเหตุผลที่ผมตัดสินใจมาที่นี่

ผมชอบความยืดหยุ่นมาก ผมสามารถเลือกวิชาที่สนใจได้เอง ซึ่งทำให้การเรียนที่นี่น่าสนใจมากยิ่งขึ้น ขนาดชั้นเรียนที่เล็กลงช่วยให้มีการโต้ตอบกันมากขึ้น และผมได้เรียนรู้อะไรมากมายจากเพื่อนร่วมชั้นที่มาจากหลากหลายประเทศในเอเชีย นี่เป็นวิธีที่ดีในการเข้าใจวัฒนธรรมใหม่ ๆ และมุมมองที่แตกต่างกัน
PIM เป็นสถาบันที่ยอดเยี่ยม บรรยากาศสวยงาม มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ทำให้การเรียนสะดวกสบายมากด้วย

โปรแกรมที่ผมเรียนคือ หลักสูตรบริหารธุรกิจ สาขาวิชาการเป็นผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจสมัยใหม่ (iMBE) วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ หลักสูตรนี้ให้ความยืดหยุ่น เช่น การมีเรียนแค่สัปดาห์ละสามวัน ซึ่งช่วยให้ผมมีโอกาสเดินทางและสัมผัสประสบการณ์ในประเทศไทยได้มากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมใหม่ ๆ และวิธีการเรียนรู้หรือแก้ปัญหาในแบบที่แตกต่างกัน ผมดีใจมากที่เลือกประสบการณ์นี้ และขอแนะนำให้ทุกคนที่สนใจการสำรวจโลกลองมาที่นี่ดู”

“At my university, we have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester. I wanted to explore a destination outside Europe and saw that Thailand was one of the options. This partnership between my school and PIM was new, and I thought, why not try Asia? That’s how I decided to come here.

I really enjoy the flexibility. I was able to choose the courses that interested me the most, which made studying here very engaging. The small class sizes allow for more interaction and I’ve learned a lot from classmates from various Asian countries. It’s a great way to understand new cultures and different perspectives.

My favorite course is Applied Business Research. It’s fascinating to analyze how businesses operate and conduct meaningful research.

I use my free days to travel around Thailand. So far, I’ve been to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khao Lak, Koh Sok, Phuket, and Koh Tao. Sometimes I travel alone, sometimes with friends I’ve met here, and even with my mom when she visited.
PIM is an excellent institution. The campus is beautiful, with great facilities that make studying here very convenient.

The program offers flexibility, like having classes only three days a week, which allowed me to travel and experience Thailand. It’s also a unique opportunity to learn about new cultures and adopt different approaches to learning and problem-solving. I’m glad I chose this experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the world. “

“At PIM, I am learning new marketing strategies, customer experience management, business presentation, and visual and store design. While studying different subjects than those I learned in Korea is a little challenging, I appreciate gaining new knowledge and experiences. For example, in Visual and Store Design, it was both difficult and fun to work step by step with my team, developing ideas from scratch and seeing them take shape. Through business presentations, I’ve also gained various skills and experiences.
Thailand has a culture that is very different from Korea, and I truly enjoy having new experiences, meeting new friends, and talking with them through PIM.

If I were to recommend this program, I would say that even if you don’t yet have a clear dream or don’t know where to start, gaining new experiences can lead to unexpected opportunities. It’s never too late to try something new, and this program can help you take that first step. Trying it will not be a harmful decision—on the contrary, it might inspire you in ways you never expected.”

“ฉันเรียนสถาปัตยกรรมที่เกาหลี มาที่นี่ฉันเรียนสาขาวิชาการเป็นผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจสมัยใหม่เพื่อนที่นี่น่ารักและต้อนรับดีมาก การฟังเลคเชอร์เป็นภาษาอังกฤษถือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ประทับใจสำหรับฉัน เพราะที่เกาหลีส่วนใหญ่จะสอนเป็นภาษาเกาหลี การได้เรียนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษจึงรู้สึกแปลกใหม่และน่าสนุกไปอีกแบบ

กิจกรรมในโปรแกรมก็มีหลากหลาย อย่างบางครั้งก็ได้ไปเยี่ยมชมบริษัทกับนักศึกษา iMBA หรือเข้าฟังเลคเชอร์ร่วมกับนักศึกษา iMBE ส่วนตัวแล้ว ฉันชอบ Company Visit มากที่สุด เพราะที่เกาหลีฉันเคยอยู่ชมรมสตาร์ทอัพกับเพื่อน ๆ การได้ไปเยี่ยมชมบริษัทเลยทำให้ฉันรู้สึกสนุกและได้แรงบันดาลใจเยอะมาก

ที่ PIM เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีมากสำหรับฉัน สิ่งที่ฉันรู้สึกแตกต่างและน่าสนใจที่สุดคือเรื่องเครื่องแบบนักศึกษา เพราะที่เกาหลีพอจบมัธยมปลายแล้ว เราไม่ได้ใส่เครื่องแบบอีกเลย การได้เห็นนักศึกษาใส่เครื่องแบบที่นี่เลยรู้สึกว้าวมาก อีกอย่างที่ฉันชอบคือความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดระหว่างรุ่นพี่กับรุ่นน้องในโปรแกรม ซึ่งต่างจากมหาวิทยาลัยในเกาหลีของฉันมาก เพราะฉันเริ่มเรียนตอนช่วงโควิด-19 ทำให้พลาดโอกาสเจอเพื่อน ๆ ในมหาวิทยาลัยไปเยอะ

“I am an architecture student in my home country, but here I am studying business management. The classmates here are very kind and welcoming, and attending lectures in English has been an impressive experience for me. In Korea, most lectures are conducted in Korean, so studying in English is quite different and refreshing.

Our program activities vary from year to year. Sometimes we join company visits with IMBA students, and other times we attend lectures alongside IMBE students. Personally, I enjoyed the company visits the most. Since I was part of a start-up club with my friends back home, these visits were particularly fascinating and inspiring to me.

PIM has been a wonderful experience overall. One unique aspect that stood out to us was the school uniform. In Korea, we don’t wear uniforms after graduating from high school, so seeing students in uniforms here was very impressive. Another thing I appreciated was how well-connected juniors and seniors are within their programs. This is quite different from my university experience in Korea, as I started during the COVID-19 pandemic and missed out on a lot of campus interaction.

If you join this program, you’ll gain valuable experiences and broaden your perspective. Even if you’re unsure of your dreams right now, this program can help you discover new opportunities and paths you might not have considered before.”

ฉันอยากแนะนำให้มาสำรวจประเทศไทย ได้รับประสบการณ์ใหม่ ๆ และพบปะผู้คนที่หลากหลาย การศึกษาในที่นี่ไม่ได้ให้เพียงความรู้ทางวิชาการเท่านั้น แต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้ได้สัมผัสกับสิ่งที่คุณอาจไม่เคยเจอมาก่อนอีกด้วย”

“As an exchange student, I hope to enjoy a comfortable learning environment and opportunities to connect with others. I also look forward to exploring different places in Thailand and learning about Thai culture and language during my time here.

I appreciate that the program focuses more on practical learning than theoretical approaches, offering plenty of activities, such as field trips, to help students gain hands-on experience.

The professors and staff at PIM are very supportive, and the overall environment is welcoming. Regarding Thailand, I’ve found that most Thai people I meet are friendly, kind, and helpful. Additionally, there are so many wonderful places to visit and shop.
