On January 8, 2025, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) had the honor of welcoming Mr. Mika J. Kortelainen, Sales Director from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland, along with Dr. Annika Vatanen, Advisor for Education, Labour, and Migration.
The purpose of their visit was to explore potential avenues for future collaboration, including but not limited to academic partnerships, healthcare initiatives, and rehabilitation expertise.
As part of the visit, PIM facilitated a tour of the Restart Academy, a project under the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ). This initiative provides vocational training opportunities for ex-prisoners in areas such as cooking, Thai massage, and hairdressing, empowering them to reintegrate into society.
The discussions and visit have laid a strong foundation for exploring further collaborative opportunities, and we look forward to advancing this partnership in the near future.
