There are many reasons why graduate students choose to study M.B.A. International Business (iMBA) at PIM, one of which is that it is a Corporate University where they can gain more business skill and practical knowledge in global business, as well as create a network to expand their business or career. And these are our iMBA students’ opinions as to why they chose to study here.

Why choose iMBA?
At first, I wasn’t expecting to study pursue any master’s at all but however, I was aiming for the education for the master’s degree anyway. However, after I came here and saw it’s a Work-based Education, it’s interesting because it feels more like a session than a regular education program.
What do you like about iMBA program?
The feeling is more like a session so it’s not just a lecture from the school but the real business entrepreneur come to the school and share their experiences and we get to interact. Shaping up our business plan
I like in particular that the first one is the company visit I experience a lot and also the experience from the lectures with a real entrepreneur like Aj.Ken’s class.
What do you want to do after finishing the program?
I would pursue the new business I created with our friends during class. It’s about the sustainable tourism ecosystem platform so I will continue on that in Laos.
If you could persuade people to study iMBA, what would you tell them?
I would tell them to try it first like this is a really cool program and I am grateful to be here. And PIM is five years ahead of time.

Why choose iMBA?
I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Mahidol University. I wanted to further widen my knowledge so I took MBA class so that I can get connected so from here I saw that with two days of study, I can focus more on theory in a practical format so I chose iMBA at PIM.
What’s your favourite part of the program?
My best part is friends from different countries and also for like if I go to curriculum, it would be more on going to the company visit so that’s more interesting because I can get a real-life experience with the people over there and get to know and ask questions from the main person inside the company.
Also, knowing more in the business field so business is not just about theory so we learn theory like all my bachelor life but actually for using it and applying it to a real-life example for Goh we just learn about Goh strategy and it was like really cool and now I can see the perspective about the war or politics and strategy they use. It quite interesting
What do you want to do after finishing the program?
I want to work in Thailand for a few years later also I’m like on balance with helping my mom and dad’s business so my mom and dad have their own business so I will be more helpful towards my dad’s business.
If you could persuade people to study iMBA, what would you tell them?
I would say that to get a new experience, I would suggest just going out of the box and to know people and explore not just to stay in the classroom and read but actually learn.

My favourite part of iMBA’s program in PIM is I get to do my own startup which is a lot of support from the professor and mentor from my friends and classmate they are really supportive on my startup with very good encouragement motivation for me to continue and keep doing what I really passionate about in my startup and also get to see more of the company because I dream that I could create that company one day so I could see the different how they operate in one company.

I have gained a lot of skills. First is pitching skill I know how to pitching in publicly and very confidently I can learn about business development skill where I can develop in my business to another levels and also the sales skill where I can tug where I can sell I can negotiate with another partner with very confident and no pressure.
What do you like about PIM?
What I like about PIM is it’s called Work-based Education where I come not only for education but also to explore experience in the work to understand how the work is going to be like and how the process in one company or in working area so in that can impact a lot to me because when I open my own company I can understand how can I manage my company very well from my experience from PIM.
If you could persuade people to study iMBA, what would you tell them?
If I have a chance to share suggestions with my juniors or my fellow friends I would encourage them to come to PIM because of some reason first is about Work-based Education you need to come to not only to study but to experience the real life working so they want you go to work or you create your own company you can understand how the company going to be like and how you make it very well and second if you really have business idea and you want to do business in Thailand or your country you should come to PIM because PIM really support the startup to improve their pitching their business development and everything about business.
And the last one I think PIM have a lot of networking opportunity. PIM helps you to explore more outside of your comfort zone such as going to different company meeting different kind of people and another business competition as well.
