•What is your job and your responsibilities now?
I’m working as Country Marketing Executive – JD Sports Thailand. I respond for retail and social media. In the retail part, I take care of the Store component (window decals, lightbox, A1 poster, Digital screen) in each campaign for JD Sports TH. Cooperate with the mall partnership for In-malls media in order to distribute brand’s visibilities.
For the social media part, I take care of strategic planning (daily, weekly posts) and performance monitoring to figure ways to improve page performance. In additional, I’ve cooperated with influencer to promotion each campaign.
•What is the benefit of studying iMTM that you like the most and useful for you?
The most benefit of studying iMTM for me is a connection because I’d met friends from other countries. Not just international connections, but also connections between companies that allow me to intern in different companies. In order to gain experience and gain an advantage in working after graduation.
•How did PIM prepare you for your career?
The Work-based Education course allows me to learn a lot. Whether the theory in the classroom and the practice in companies throughout the internship. It made me understand more in myself better, and what kind of work I like or good at.
•What was your experience like at PIM?
Like a rollercoaster. Study hard, work hard, and play hard, but it’s worth it. I think it’s a good social practice experience.
•What advice do you have for our juniors?
The important thing about working in a company is Excel! Practice and learn it until you master it. Compromise and humility are the ways to stay at work in peace. Always be able to learn new things. Egos are not the friendliest in the workplace.
•What is your job and your responsibilities now?
Currently, I am a digital marketing leader in one of the startup digital marketing agency companies in Cambodia. So basically, I am responsible for managing social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram both for my company and my clients as well. It involves creating content, audience analysis, conducting performance reports, and so on.
•Why did you decide to study at PIM?
PIM is one of the great universities I know. I don’t know what the studying program in other universities but here at PIM is different because it gives us an opportunity to do internships once a year in various companies. I think this Work-based Education program is great for students to prepare for their future career goals and to know exactly what you want to do in your life. So, after graduation, you have soft skills, hard skills, and experience to be ready to work!
•What is the benefit of studying iMTM that you like the most and is useful for you?
Studying iMTM gives me so much knowledge about business management and I think it’s really useful for my career. I learned through an interesting case study, company visits, and also internships as I mentioned earlier. Moreover, I like that we get a chance to collaborate with real companies by doing assignments or new business plans for them. I find it really interesting because we get to bring the knowledge that we learned from class into real-world practice.
•How did PIM prepare you for your career?
Studying at PIM, I don’t have to worry about finding a company to work for after I graduate. As PIM is under CP Group, they have lots of networking companies to choose from and PIM is really great in matching our skills and experience with our preferred company.
•What advice do you have for our juniors?
Study hard because you’re going to be proud of yourself in the end but don’t forget to enjoy your time in university life as well because you’re not going to come back to this stage of life again. Be a good student, a good friend, and a good child to your parents. And remember no matter how tough your assignment is, don’t give up your degree because trust me, you’re going to thank yourself later.
•What is your job and your responsibilities now?
Currently studying in Master of Marketing Management program and for a job, I am the founder and CEO of YHub. Now we work on entertainment, education, and shopping. Currently, we have already launched our entertainment sector this month and working on more sectors.
•Why did you decide to study at PIM?
Work-Based Education is the most important reason why I chose PIM. As a foreign student, doing an official internship during the study period is really amazing opportunity. Besides, I am interested in modern trade business management and I was really impressed with the background of PIM which is CP group. So I believed that PIM is a practical and effective university when it comes to business.
•What is the benefit of studying iMTM that you like the most and is useful for you?
First of all, I like that we have so many clubs and activities we can join such as Toastmasters Club where I joined and learned many things. Secondly, visiting several companies makes us inspired and understand how the business runs.
Thirdly, we have to learn from professionals and so it makes us more inspired and interested. Last but not least, doing internships in famous and successful cooperative companies is such a great opportunity for us.
•How did PIM prepare you for your career?
PIM prepared us step by step with a progressive plan for the internship. And PIM always holds events like seminars, startup competitions, and career events. Also, our advisers always consult with us about careers and help us. And we are learned and prepared by professionals not only in business subjects. In this way, we are prepared for our careers after graduation.
•What advice do you have for our juniors?
Have fun while you can and try your best during your internship period. Learn while you can and always do networking.
•What is your job and your responsibilities now?
HR officer, HRM, CP All Plc. but now I’m mostly in the Coordinator role in the HR international Team. I coordinate with my teammates and other teams for workflow processes and meetings. I joined the interviewing candidates sometimes and I’m learning how to do Payroll.
•Why did you decide to study at PIM?
The first reason is scholarships for international programs. It’s a rare item for me to study in an international program with a scholarship. It’s an honor to study in the iMTM program. Also, Work-based education. I think work experience is tangible because the more I do, the better I get understanding.
•What is the benefit of studying iMTM that you like the most and is useful for you?
What I like the most and most useful are Study courses, Teachers and Friends. Study courses are modern, adaptive, and fresh but still keep the core. I heard that my junior class has a UX/UI design class. I think courses are keeping up with the digital world situation. The teachers and friends are supportive. We may have some arguments sometimes but in the end, we help each other.
•How did PIM prepare you for your career?
PIM prepares me for work experience which allows me to have a real work environment that only studying in class or group work will never give you, and the important one, connection with people which opens your opportunities wider.
•What was your experience like at PIM?
I can say that my experience at PIM is enjoyable. Academic courses are modern and teachers and friends are supportive.
•What advice do you have for our juniors?
I believe that each of the juniors has their own career path. I may be just a reminder that PIM gives you academic and internships which is the advantage that gives you work experience to try on. Just keep going and make sure you are ok with what you are doing. At final, I wish you good health, both physical and psychological.
