In May 2018, PIM executives led by Mr. Siam Choksawangwong visited Ming Chuan University, United States Campus (MCU) and Saginaw Valley State University, United States (SVSU). This high-level delegation reciprocated and visited PIM on 1 October 2018.
During the session, Dr. Donald Bachand, President of SVSU and Dr. Chuan Lee, President of MCU were introduced to the international aspirations of PIM and the Institute’s uniqueness of the education model.
The discussion led SVSU and MCU to offer to host Satit PIM’s students in the US as a future project. Ms. Liana Bachand, First Lady, SVSU and Dr. Pei-Di Lee, Managing Director, Dr. Lynne Lee, Dean of International College, Mr. Andy Lee, Special Assistant to the President of MCU, Mr. Zihong Qin, Staff, Ming Chuan University Office Thailand and Ms. Peian Chung, Staff, Ming Chuan University Office Thailand accompanied the presidents of the two institutions.
After the discussion, PIM arranged a facility tour to SVSU and MCU highlighting PIM’s Aviation Business Training Center (PIM AIR), PIM’s Innovative Center for Robotics and Automation (iCras), 7-Eleven 10,001 Concept Store, and PIM Demonstration School, to show PIM’s teaching and learning styles.
The delegation also had an opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to Mr. Korsak Chairasmisak, Chairman of the Executive Committee.
