On 29 January, 2019, the key proponents of William Angliss Institute (WAI), Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI), and Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) met to resume developing the annual plan of action at the Pearl Building, Bangkok
This meeting was arranged after the tri-party signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU), WAI, TPQI, and PIM on 4 December 2018 to discuss about next steps which would be taken. The current plan includes a competency standard comparison, a benchmark study, an assessment test, training, and seminars. There will be two possible paths for the culinary track: for the professionals seeking international accreditation and the young aspiring students.
The main participants of this session were Mr. Noppadol Piyatraphum, Deputy Managing Director, TPQI, Ms. Jullada Meejun, Deputy Director, International Affairs, TPQI, Mr. Wayne Crosbie, Director, Angliss International and Ms. Puangpetch Nitayanont, Dean, Faculty of Food Business Management, PIM. The next consultative meeting will be on March 2019.
