PIM launches first virtual internship with 9 partner universities
PIM responds to the partner universities seeking creative and alternative solutions to conduct academic cooperation.
1 September 2020 marked the first day of the three-day virtual course titled PIM Virtual-Leadership Entrepreneurship Development, or PIM V-LED. Ten universities, including PIM, nominated participants and observers, listed below:
- Waseda University, Japan
- Mie University, Japan
- Kansai University, Japan
- Osaka Prefecture University, Japan
- Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea
- National University of Laos, Laos
- Myanmar Noble University, Myanmar
- Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand
- Vocational Training Council, Hong Kong
- Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Thailand
The three-day program included lectures, workshops, and virtual tours to cultural sites and companies. The participants were grouped into 4 groups and tasked to develop a special project covering new normal strategies in the retail industry.
This multi-disciplinary program was arranged by PIM’s Office of International Relations in consultation with the Faculty Liberal Arts, Faculty of Logistics and Transportation Management (LTM), Faculty of Education, and the International Marketing and Recruitment Section.
