“My name is Paul Kalin. I was born and raised in France. Growing up in a multicultural environment has made me an open-minded individual from a young age. I enjoy exploring cultural diversity and this led me in learning different languages. Currently, I have a good command of French, English, and Chinese. I have obtained a double Master’s degree: one Master’s Degree in Law, Economy and Management (International Business and Affairs) in France; another Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Taiwan. Passionate about marketing and consumer behavior, I’m constantly researching on these two areas to enhance and share my knowledge with different communities.

The integration of coursework and internship can allow students to apply the knowledge they gain in the classroom to their internship and the knowledge they learn at their internship in the classroom. This approach will enhance the knowledge and practical skills through knowledge application in different situations. Moreover, students can also build their early professional network as their work closely with industry experts through internships and academic-industrial collaboration projects.”
As a teacher, how do you motivate yourself?
“I think what motivates me the most, is the achievement of the students. So whenever I see students achieve something, for example winning a competition or being able to come up with a business plan, I feel very happy. And sometimes when I feel tired and also lack of energy or when I see the smile on the student faces, that also boosts my energy and makes me want to teach them further.”
