Building on the success of previous implemented programs between PIM and Vocational Training Council (VTC), Hong Kong, both organizations jointly arranged a virtual exchange among students from VTC’s Youth College and PIM’s International College.
Over 60 students participated with international students coming from Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand.
The key objectives of the virtual student exchange are to share business knowledge and culture in Hong Kong and Thailand while developing new networks for the participants. The program was comprised of three main activities:
- Workshops: Hong Kong and Thai Language and Culture
- Lectures on topics : “Business in Hong Kong” by Ms. Cheung Yuk Ting, Selina, Lecturer, VTC Youth College and topic “Cross Cultural Practice in the Business World” by Mr. Panat Trisuvan, Lecturer, PIM International College
- Group discussions
The program was opened by a video message from Dr. Mr. Mau Kim Fai, Ben, Principal of VTC Youth College and live messages by Dr. Veerisa Chotiyaputta and Dr. Usanee Kulintornprasert of PIM. The main facilitators were VTC Youth College’s Mr. Kwan Ho Yin (Paul) and PIM’s Mr. Panat Trisuvan.
Feedback from the participants revealed exceptional results with many noting that they enjoyed both the lectures and group discussions.
