19 December 2019 marked the visit of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to exchange opinions on various key topics. The delegation was led by Mr. Stepan N. Golovin, Deputy Chief of Mission, who began on a note with promising questions and encouraging ideas directed to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Manarungsan, President, Panyapiwat Institute of Management.
The talks involved recent economic developments of Thailand and ASEAN (including RCEP) and ways to improve Thailand-Russia trade ties; Thailand economic achievements and economic relations with key partners; as well as the current state of Thailand – Russia trade and economy.
Furthermore, the Embassy announced to promote PIM to institutions in Russia to initiate academic collaborations through student mobility and scholarship programs as they believed that Work-based education will benefit Russian education.
