On 11 March 2020, GQ Thailand, an end-to-end manufacturer, retailer, and brand builder with renowned premium menswear products, visited Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) to share their upcoming campaigns and subsequent internship opportunities for PIM’s students.
GQ Thailand’s Mr. George Hartel, Chief Commercial Officer; Ms. Parawi Vachiramon, Chief People Officer; and Mr. Phichet Sornsiri, HR Manager, were warmly welcomed by the PIM team led by Dr. Usanee Kulintornprasert, Director, Office of International Relations and Dr. Veerisa Chotiyaputta, Assistant Dean, International College.
Mr. George, who is familiar with PIM’s orientation towards preparing young men and women for immediate work upon graduation, updated PIM with GQ Thailand’s new products including GQ White and the special Songkran apparel. He also shared their current need for bright, young people with interests in business development and design to join their team as brand consultants.
Dr. Veerisa invited Mr. George to return as guest speaker to talk directly to the students. She also raised opportunities for increased cooperation to which Mr. George welcomed.
The meeting adjourned with a meal at Chef’s Kitchen, a restaurant run by PIM’s Faculty of Food Business Management.
