A three-member delegation from Finland University was accompanied by Mr. Kimmo Pekari, Special Advisor on Special Advisor, Trade and Economic Affairs, Embassy of Finland to PIM on 18 February 2020. The session was primarily arranged to continue exploring ways to cooperate in the future. Also joining the group was Ms. Nantiya Wongrojaree, Former Regional Manager of Finnair Thailand and Indochina and Ms. Teeranuch Richiravanich, Trade Assistant, Embassy of Finland.
Representing Finland University were Dr. Marja Sutela, Vice Rector, Tampere University; Ms. Aino Sipari, Head, Lifelong Learning Services Unit; and Ms. Mirka Gustafsson, Key Account Manager for Transnational Education, Tampere University & Finland University.
PIM’s Mr. Siam Choksawangwong warmly welcomed the delegation and invited Dr. Marja and her team to collaborate on some activities that could boost the knowledge about Finnish education models in Thailand. Dr. Marja thankfully accepted and offered to host PIM at Tampere University.
Discussions also covered possible academic cooperation in the areas of hospitality and aviation business.
